In 1995, Mediaware introduced ad agencies to automated workflow software couple with media listing databases. “Suddenly, the typists had to switch from electronic typewriters to PCs! To make it easy, we started providing weekly updates of Indian vmedia listings to all our ad agency clients along with quarterly software updates - by couriering CDs & floppies to clients. This was before the Internet,” says Deepak Chheda, VP.

Twenty years later, Mediaware has just released its latest version of Ad Agency Workflow Management “Adintell Services”. The new avatar has added business budgeting & a planning suite to the full-fledged operations & billing module. The underlying “Communications Layer” helps users to initiate & maintain email conversations linked to each business document.

Adintell Services offers individually designed modules for Television, Digital, Print, Radio, OOH & Activation. And the media listings database still plays its role as facilitator, only it has been enhanced to hold market rates, which are projected by independent panel of consultants.

In the pipeline is a client-servicing module which promises to help the “suits” keep in touch with clients & campaigns by fetching latest status of campaigns/projects from existing workflow systems.

Helping Manage Marketing Investments
“In 2014, we entered the world of managing marketing investments with Brandintell Services. A combination of process automation, data integration between marketing & its agency partners, competition data, performance data as well as branch-budget management – Brandintell creates a single private platform to hold the Marketing Dept.’s databases. Further, our consultants add value by providing knowledge-based services. Brandintell has signed up with a decorative paints leader as well as a leading player in the automobile segment, for whom we start implementing post the current festive season,” says Biswajit Das, Founder & CEO.

Marketing investments are dynamic, short-term, dictated by sales & triggered by competition & all activities are outsourced. Digital, television, print, radio, OOH, cinema & on-ground events & activation, each have their own objectives & unique metrics for measuring performance, making it a real challenge to manage.

“With Brandintell Services designed to generate sets of clean, correlated databases related to marketing investments to yield market-wise ROI on a click, we want to launch our services in global marketing capitals,” says Das.
