With the help of FMS, OperationsManager can have the data to effectively implement FOQA and MOQA (Maintenance Operation Quality Assurance) system to improve operation efficiency thus reducing the losses.
DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) is in favor of having increased car compliances from the fleet owners to its ICAO auditors. Implementing flight-tracking systems on the fleets will be a huge leap towards achievingthis increased car compliances.
"We are in talks with DOT to get us the selected permission to access Iridium and have received the replies to various RTI from Government of India. The responses are very positive, we are hopeful to get inroad in early 2014," adds Parekh.
