SunRise Imaging: Helping Clients Realize the True Value of Google Apps Supported Digitization

By

In conversation with Mukesh Kumar Jain, CEO, SunRise Imaging

Q) The phenomenon of digitization is reaching an inflection point. How has SunRise Imaging been working along the shifts to make a place in the Indian market?
Mukesh: The company has formulated its strategy to reach out to the existing customers of its customer Integra Micro Systems, throughout the country. With larger learning from that, the company will be modifying its processes and systems.

Q) How does SunRise incorporate the latest in technologies in the digitization services to provide clients with cost effective services across industries?
Mukesh: Document generation (Word processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation), document sharing, communication (hangouts), and video conferencing HW & SW are the key subsystems of digitization services. Sunrise intends to leverage this against expensive technologies from Microsoft and others.

Q) How does SunRise deploy and help customers migrate to Google apps for work and what probable benefits can the customers enjoy by your Google Enterprise Application service?
Mukesh: The company provides remote and onsite support for deploying the applications.

Q) Put some light on your achievements so far.
Mukesh: The company has deployed applications at several companies. They are satisfied customers of Google.

Q) Pin point a few major turning points in your journey, or a few prominent events, situations, that can help us bring out a good story.
Mukesh: Our customer Integra Micro Systems had been using Mail Server which it hosted in the USA for over 15 years. It had continuous issues of spams and at times patches in software… causing its employee suffer badly and also losing several GB of data bandwidth every day in junk loading and deleting. After it switched to GMAIL, the productivity improved by 5 percent and it started saving several lacs/month in human resources and bandwidth. Now they are encouraging its staff to use Google Docs and Hangouts. We also see that the company is changing to Chrome OS for many of its remote operations.
The key concerns were on security of mail content. We could convince that once it is paid service, mails are well protected. Google retains the right to examine general accounts not the Paid accounts.

Q) Where do you envisage SunRise Imaging in the Indian market space in the next 5 years?
Mukesh: We envision ourselves to bear the flag for digitization in India with a clear determination to position amongst the top 3 partners of Google. We intend to help our customers realize the value of cloud based services to enable mobility and accessibility across multiple devices.

Headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka, SunRise Imaging is a provider of digitization services & reseller of Google Apps for Work. It focuses on using ICR/OCR/OMR engines (both proprietary and open source), automating workflows, and bringing effective archival and retrieval systems.
